So many nations with so many hungry people. So many homeless scrounging around for dirty needles. On the rise, teen suicide, when we will realize we've been desensitized by the lies of the world. We're oppressed and impressed by the greedy. Whose hands squeeze the life out of the needy. When will we learn that wars, threats, and regrets are the cause and effect of living in fear.
Who can help protect the innocence of our children. Stolen on the internet with images they can't forget.
We want it, we want, we want a reason to live.
We represent a generation that wants to turn back a nation. To let love be our light and salvation.
We need it, we need, we need more than this.

I became a savior to some kids I'll never meet. Sent a check in the mail to buy them something to eat. What will you do to make a difference, to make a change? What will you do to help someone along the way? Just a touch, a smile as you turn the other cheek. Pray for your enemies, humble yourself. Love's staring back at me in the midst of the most painful faces.

I love this song. It demonstrates that an angel can be someone here on earth, not just an otherworldly form. It explains that even doing the smallest thing can make you an angel to someone else. "Angels show up in the strangest of places." I believe is true. Just when you need them most they appear. Whether an otherworldly angel, or someone that acts like an angel, they're here for us. Everyone's looking for angels, will you be one?

My best friend is an angel. She has saved me more times than anyone will know. She has been there for me through thick and thin, and I will never forget what she has done for me. Even when she was hurt she always listened to what was wrong with me. She never said anything, and I never knew, but she was always there even when she hurt the most. My "big brother" as I call him is also an angel. He set me straight a lot of the time. Even if I didn't like it. He was always there for me. They have both played a big part in my life, and I didn't realize it. They mean a lot to me, and I hope that I can do for them someday what they have done for me. Thank you, for supporting me and always listening. I should appreciate you more than I usually do.

Look around you and think, "Who has been there for me?" Whether it's a pet, a hobby, whatnot. It's an angel's doing. Thank your friends who are like angels, and make sure you appreciate them.
