The Last Fight (Piano Version)

"I don't wanna stand beside you. I don't wanna try and feel the pain you're going through. 'Til the death you'll see this through.
Cold sweats, hallucinations. I wanna scream to show the hell I'm going through. The addiction's taken you.
Can you see me through bloodshot eyes? (bloodshot eyes) Should I fight for what is right, or let it die? Now I'm choking on force fed lies. Do I fight, or let it die?
I will fight one more fight, don't break down in front of me. I will fight one more fight, I am not the enemy. I will try one last time, are you listening to me? I will fight the last fight. I am not your enemy.

Everyone is sick of caring. No silver lining on the cloud that covers you. Let it pour and soak you through. No hope, just desperation. So sit and wait for death, and pray it takes you soon.

Not your enemy. Not your enemy.

Can you feel me through bloodshot eyes? (bloodshot eyes) Should I fight another night, or let it die? Now I'm choking on every lie. Should I fight, or let it die?

I will fight one more fight, don't break down in front of me. I will fight one more fight, I am not the enemy. I will try one last time, are you listening to me? I will fight the last fight. I am not your enemy."
~Bullet For My Valentine.

This song really slows it down for the band. It's not their usual style, as it's much slower and is mostly piano and string instruments. They are known for fast and heavy beats, with alot of guitar and drums. This song is a lovely change of pace.

From what I gather of this song, he is having a hard time with his girlfriend/someone he cares about. They appear to be on drugs, and he's trying to get them to quit. He's tired of fighting with them, it seems, but he's willing to try one last time. It seems to me that he knows what they're going through, as if he's done the same thing before. But it's as if he has a choice to make, save them or let it die? A heartfelt song and a very interesting piano version. I put the original beneath the piano version, so you can judge for yourself if this was a good switch or not. The original is hardcore and fast paced, and possibly conveys more anger at what's happening.

I like the piano version, but that's my opinion. I believe it has more depth, more meaning to the song. Plus you understand it better. This song is great for someone who jumps from Genre to Genre and doesn't stick to just one. It's also great for romantics and/or anyone who cares enough to fight for something they believe in. Although very different from the original, the piano version is deeper somehow, and it explains more about what's happening. I feel it has more feeling and therefor, more feeling to it. The original just doesn't convey the feeling as well, and comes off as more angry.

Well, I hope you liked listening.

Tears Don't Fall

www.youtube.com/watch?v=9sTQ0QdkN3Q

"LET'S GO!!!!

With bloodshot eyes I watch you sleeping. The warmth I feel beside me slowly fading.
Would she hear me if I called her name? Would she hold me if she knew my shame?
There's always something different going wrong, the path I walk is in the wrong direction. There's always someone different hanging on. Can anybody help me make it better?

Your tears don't fall, they crash around me. Her conscience calls the guilty to come home.
Your tears don't fall, they crash around me. Her conscience calls the guilty to come home.

The moments died, I hear no screaming. The visions left inside me slowly fading.
Would she hear me if I called her name? Would she hold me if she knew my shame?
There's always something different going wrong, the path I walk is in the wrong direction. There's always someone differemt hanging on. Can anybody help me make it better?

Your tears don't fall, they crash around me. Her conscience calls the guilty to come home.
Your tears don't fall, they crash around me. Her conscience calls the guilty to come home.

OH!
YEAH!!!
This battered room I've seen before. The broken bones, they heal no more. (no more.) With my last breath I'm choking. Will this ever end? I'm hoping. My world is over one more time!
LET'S GO!
Would she hear me if I called her name? Would she hold me if she knew my shame?
There's always something different going wrong, the path I walk is in the wrong direction. There's always
someone differnt hanging on. Can anybody help me make it better?

Your tears don't fall, they crash around me. Her conscience calls the guilty to come home.
Your tears don't fall, they crash around me. Her conscience calls the guilty to come home."
~Bullet For My Valentine.

One of my friends absolutely loves this song, and every time I hang out with him I hear it. I liked it, so I decided to put up a post about it. It's a great song, but I guess I don't really understand the meaning behind it. Every person will interpret it differently though, so I'll just comment on the music instead.

This song has some screaming, but it more mild. It really makes you think, with a faster beat and heavy on the drums. The lyrics don't really make sense but in a way they do. If I were to interpret it, I would say that he's feeling the loss of his girlfriend, and that he's upset over her leaving. They definitely leave an impression, maybe because you're still trying to figure out what he's trying to say long after the song has ended. A good mix of vocals and instruments gets the point across clearly enough, and it's a great song for Bullet For My Valentine fans.

Hope you enjoyed listening.
