This song is amazing. To say the least. I love it. I had never listened to Blessthefall before, but I'm starting to like them. This song was introduced to me by my new boyfriend, claiming it made him think of me. Which was really cute. *^.^* I love him.

The story behind this song is an interesting one. The lead singer of Blessthefall, Beau, and his girlfriend (now wife.), Lights, were both on tour, and they were separated for a little over 40 days. Lights wrote her own version, called And Counting. Both songs have portions of letters they sent to each other in them. Such as, "When I fall asleep I feel you with me." I may be a hopeless romantic, but I think this is sooo cute. I lose it. (And rumors have it that they're making a remix together.) ^.^

Anyways, this song is perfect for anyone working through a long distance relationship. Or for anyone who is in a relationship where you don't see each other often. I've been lucky enough to see my boyfriend once or twice a week lately. I find myself drawn to him, and I want to spend as much time as I can with him. The song says, "It's so cold here without you, without you. And I need you now 'cause it's killing me." This is perfect. Every time I'm away from him I feel disconnected, cold and alone. It kills me. Even if it's only been an hour since I saw him last I miss him. We're connected.
