I really like the way this song mixes the electronic parts of it with the alternative parts of it. While the beat and the background have a bit of an electronic feel, the vocals remind me of an alternative mix. With an obvious synth in the background on the chorus mixing with the guitar and drum beat and a bit of a deeper electronic buzz in some other parts it's sure to be a pleaser. It's catchy and while rather dark I do get this song stuck in my head quite frequently. Also, it's hard to tell what he's trying to express in this song. You could take it in the literal sense, where a person he loves has passed away and he's trying to bring said person back to life. However on the other hand it could have a completely different intention where it's really talking about the love between them dying, and he is trying to bring it back to life while she is trying to let it go, or let it die. He wants to save her and their love by fixing it and she just wants to let go. No matter how you interpret this song, it's a great listening experience.
